I was formerly a performer, which eventually led me into scene design, prop design, and designing stage costumes. In college, I became infatuated with being able to create anything I could imagine. Now I consider myself a mixed media artist, muralist, printmaker, photographer, set and prop-maker, fashion designer, and art teacher. I am passionate about getting art into the hands of all ages through my artwork, community engagement events, and teaching families how to be creative together. I am located on Sugarloaf Key, but you'll often find me wandering around Key West at craft fairs.
Christian Guerin, French, born in 1953, was brought up in France by his grandmother Berthe Cammeo, who was an artist recognized by the Beaux Arts. He now lives in Weston, Florida. Living in Saint Paul de Vence for a long time, a quaint village in the southeast of France, well known all around the world as an artistic village, where famous artists love to meet. Christian loves to assemble, cut up, paste and paint, to produce spectacular lines which people either adore or are shocked by.
As an artist and jeweler, I have been fortunate to create numerous custom pieces of jewelry through the years at my business, Goldsmith Jewelers. I have also exhibited at several galleries including Gingerbread Square and Gallery on Greene as well as The National Gallery in Kuwait.
