The
Florida Keys Council of the Arts reminds artists and arts
organizations of the upcoming grant application deadlines. Eligible
art forms include visual, performing, literary, cultural and
historical arts and their display.
Cultural Umbrella:
Wednesday, May 21. Tourist Development
Council Cultural Umbrella funding up to $25,000 per application is for
the promotion of arts and culture events in 2003-04.
This is a receipt deadline: applications must be delivered to the arts
council office, 1100 Simonton St., Key West, before 5 p.m. on May 21. Late
applications will not be accepted.
Artists in Schools:
Saturday, May 31.
Artists in Schools funding up to $1,000 for the 2003-04 school
year is available for an artist and a teacher working together to
enhance the existing curriculum.
May 31 is a postmark
deadline.
ArtReach: Monday,
June 30.
ArtReach funding up to $1,000 per project enables an artist or
cultural organization to reach a new audience by partnering with a
business or organization. June
30 is a postmark deadline.

select Links and Grant Information, then scroll down the page to
the Local section.
