On Thursday evening, at 6:30 PM, the Council of the Arts
annual meeting/dinner and party will be held at the Key Colony Inn, in
Key Colony Beach. The event is being sponsored by your Florida Keys Council
of the Arts.
People who have attended last year were subjected to cold and wind, and
some even wore furs and ski jackets. Not, this year.......the room at
the Inn is completely enclosed, and we will have even more entertainment
and fun provided by the Key Players and some of their talented singers
and musicians.
Additionally, pianist Melody Cooper & violinist Pavla Houdkova will
perform an eclectic mix of classical, jazz and popular music. Melody &
Pavla play in the Arts Council's Senior Citizen Lunchtime Concert Series
and in the Lower Keys Hospital concert series.
The complete charge for dinner (each person) will be $25.00, tax and tip
incl. and a fine evening and full dinner is in store for those attending.
This will not be a fund-raiser, and is simply a reward to our arts council
members, staff and guests, and board members who have worked so hard to
serve our entire Keys arts community. Please RSVP to the Council Office

This is a short notice reminder, as many of our invitations have yet to
be received by members. We look forward to seeing you next Thurs evening,
