Fellowships up to $15,000 are again available to visual and media artists in the Keys.
The Florida Keys Council of the Arts will host a workshop on August 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gato Building, 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, for artists interested in applying for the 2006 South Florida Cultural Consortium fellowships by the October 3 deadline.
Recent past winners include Darlene Pruess, Michel Delgado, Marlene Koenig, Sara Stites, Shari Schemmel, Kimberly Narenkevicius, Jenny Zeller, Debra Yates and D. Scott Wallace. In addition to the cash prize, winners are included in a show in one of South Florida’s best art museums.
