Laura Black

I moved to Key West from New York City in 1997, lured by the warm weather and vibrant art and music community. I am a self-taught painter, although I’ve studied under other local Key West artists. I have had my artwork and Giclee/Prints in many different galleries and gift shops in the past 14 years, including Key West Artworks, Hemingway House and Blue Heaven gift shops. I have been a member of Island Arts Co-op Gallery for almost 8 years, which is closing at the end of August. I have been commissioned to paint many private homes and a live-in boat.
