final heads-up to Arts Council members and friends..........
The Council sent a final reminder about its annual meeting and dinner at the Key Colony Inn, with music by the Key Players.
On Thursday evening, at 6:30 PM, the Council of the Arts annual meeting/dinner and party will be held at the Key Colony Inn, in Key Colony Beach. The event is being sponsored by your Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
People who have attended last year were subjected to cold and wind, and some even wore furs and ski jackets. Not, this year.......the room at the Inn is completely enclosed, and we will have even more entertainment and fun provided by the Key Players and some of their talented singers and musicians.
Additionally, pianist Melody Cooper & violinist Pavla Houdkova will perform an eclectic mix of classical, jazz and popular music. Melody & Pavla play in the Arts Council's Senior Citizen Lunchtime Concert Series and in the Lower Keys Hospital concert series.
This is a short notice reminder, as many of our invitations have yet to be received by members. We look forward to seeing you next Thurs evening, February 12, 2004, just before Valentine's Day.
