Deadlines Approaching for RFQ's
The Council listed approaching public art deadlines for four Keys fire stations, the Key West airport, and three projects in St. Petersburg and Orlando.
Key West
Call to Artists for Four Fire Stations
Monroe County Art in Public Places (AIPP) has issued a Call to Artists & Request for Qualifications for four Florida Keys Fire Stations scheduled for renovation or construction. They are located in North Key Largo, Big Pine Key, Tavernier and Conch Key.
APPLICATION DEADLINE for REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ): All required materials must be received by July 26, 2006.
Call to Artists for Key West Airport: New Deadline
Monroe County Art in Public Places (AIPP) has issued a Call to Artists & Request for Qualifications for the Key West Airport Renovation project.
APPLICATION DEADLINE for REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ):
All required materials must be received by October 4, 2006 – 3:00 PM.
Saint Petersburg
EXTERIOR PUBLIC ART RFQ
St. Petersburg, Florida city recreation center
for youth and senior adult programming. Art for covered walkway can
address either wall, sidewalk or planters or any combination of these
elements. Budget $50,000.
Deadline (postmark) July 31, 2006.
Orlando
Interior art in Orlando
The Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs
program seeks an artist, or artist team, to create interior art for a
new social and educational facility - the Eastern Regional Senior
Center. There are two "social hall's" which could handle some
good-sized work. Budget $50,000.
Deadline July 31, 2006.
Exterior art in Orlando
The Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs
program seeks an artist, or artist team, to create exterior art for a
new educational, office and exhibition facility - the Cooperative
Extension Education Building. A courtyard, an exterior, street-facing
wall, or the retension pond are possible areas to address. Budget
$50,000. Deadline July 31, 2006.
