The Council's board elected C.J. Groth chair, with Cris Sandifer as vice chair, Lois Giffen as secretary and Jack Hildreth as treasurer.

The board of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts recently elected new officers for the upcoming term. Pictured left to right are vice-chair Cris Sandifer of Key Largo, Chair C.J. Groth of Key West and secretary Lois Giffen of Marathon. Not pictured is treasurer Jack Hildreth of Key Largo.

New Chair C.J. Groth has won both artistic acclaim and commercial success with her dramatic photographic images, which have earned national and international awards. She retired from corporate business management with GE and Borg-Warner in the northeast US, and her own communication sales business in Monroe County in 1998 to devote full time to her art. Groth maintains a display of her photographs in Guild Hall Gallery.
