The Council thanked Dave Feder of Islamorada Community Entertainment for donating a portable sound system to the Monroe County Senior Center at Plantation Key

Yoiur assistance in spreading the word about arts and cultural activities throughout the Keys is greatly appreciated! Liz Young and Andrea Comstock of the Florida Keys Council of the Arts test the new sound system for the Monroe County Senior Center at Plantation Key generously donated by Dave Feder of Islamorada Community Entertainment (ICE). As a musician participating with the Arts Council's Senior Lunchtime Concert Series, Dave took it upon himself to purchase and donate a good portable system that would serve the center's needs for any public speaking, educational or entertainment events scheduled there. The Arts Council is pleased to partner with artists and arts organizations such as Dave and ICE who are dedicated to bringing the arts to all members of the community. According to Dave, "It is one of those very rewarding opportunities that comes from being involved with ICE. But ultimately it is the community at large, who in supporting our efforts, should really be thanked."
